I’ve been working with my Silhouette Cameo making week number cards for my Project Life album 2014. Here are the week number cards I just made for January and then information about the Silhouette Cameo I used to make them (sorry my picture is a little fuzzy). I started with just colored cardstock then cut the shapes out with the Cameo. I embossed the cards (and on some just the doilies) and glued them together.
One of my BFF’s Morado designed the doily shapes I used on weeks 2 and 3. That’s one GREAT thing about the Silhouette Cameo (and the smaller Portrait). You can make your own files, create your own shapes, words, anything you can imagine. You can either create your own shapes or download them from the Silhouette store for just 99 cents each. You can also find free shapes to download from the internet (check out my Pinterest board for some here). You don’t have to purchase cartridges like you do with other electronic cutters like the Cricut, for example.
