DAY 17: CHRISTMAS MICE
These little guys are SO cute! Ok, so this isn’t actually “baking”, but who’s keeping track of specifics, huh? 🙂 The only thing I’d change with these cuties is to somehow give them a little smile or some kind of mouth expression 🙂
So here’s how you make them:
Remove one layer of the Oreo cookie’s chocolate cookie. Decorate quarter of the Oreo’s white cream filling with some holly and ivy using frosting. The mouse’s body is a chocolate-dipped cherry (the tail is the cherry stem). The head is a Hershey’s kiss, and the ears are almond slices. Just assemble them all together while the chocolate on the cherry is still soft after dipping the cherry in the chocolate and once the chocolate has set, it should all stick together! Give him eyes and a nose with frosting or decorator’s novelty of your choice. How cute are they?? 🙂
