DAY 4: CHOCOLATE CHERRY NUT BREAD
1 package quick bread — (Pillsbury Quick Nut)
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped walnuts — coarsely chopped
2 teaspoons almond extract
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup chocolate chips — mini
1 tablespoon salad oil
10 ounces maraschino cherries — drained and cut in half
1 medium egg
GLAZE:
1/4 cup chocolate chips — mini
2 tablespoons oil
Stir almond extract into 1/4 cup water.
Combine all ingredients. Stir by hand until moist.
Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes.
GLAZE: Melt chocolate chips and oil in saucepan and drizzle over bread. Refrigerate.
